چکیده

Explicit equations for the calculation of time resolved emission spectra from molecules undergoing collisional vibrational relaxation are presented. The equations describe the changes of the emission spectrum with time, after a delta puke excitation. Alternatively, they can be used to obtain the steady state (frequency resolved) emission spectrum as a function of the pressure of added buffer gas. Some model cases are discussed in the light of available experimental data. Non-monotonic dependences of the emission intensity on time and pressure are exhibited which are related in appearance to those expected from quantum mechanical interference effects.

Simultaneous Determination of Ibuprofen and Caffeine in Urine Samples by Combining MCR-ALS and Excitation-emission Data

Second order advantage of excitation-emission fluorescence matrix was applied for the simultaneous determination of ibuprofen and caffeine. The proposed method is based on the measurement of the native fluorescence and recording emission spectra of ibuprofen and caffeine in different excitation wavelengths. The mixture of these compounds was resolved by multivariate curve resolution coupled wit...

Determination of time-resolved fluorescence emission spectra and anisotropies of a fluorophore-protein complex using frequency-domain phase-modulation fluorometry.

We report the first time-resolved fluorescence emission spectra and time-resolved fluorescence anisotropies obtained using frequency-domain fluorescence spectroscopy. We examined the fluorophore p-2-toluidinyl-6-naphthalenesulfonic acid (TNS) in viscous solvents and bound to the heme site of apomyoglobin using multifrequency phase fluorometers. Fluorescence phase shift and modulation data were ...

Relation of exact Gaussian basis methods to the dephasing representation: theory and application to time-resolved electronic spectra.

We recently showed that the dephasing representation (DR) provides an efficient tool for computing ultrafast electronic spectra and that further acceleration is possible with cellularization [M. Šulc and J. Vaníček, Mol. Phys. 110, 945 (2012)]. Here, we focus on increasing the accuracy of this approximation by first implementing an exact Gaussian basis method, which benefits from the accuracy o...

Photolysis of n-butyl nitrite and isoamyl nitrite at 355 nm: a time-resolved Fourier transform infrared emission spectroscopy and ab initio study.

We report on the photodissociation dynamics study of n-butyl nitrite and isoamyl nitrite by means of time-resolved Fourier transform infrared (TR-FTIR) emission spectroscopy. The obtained TR-FTIR emission spectra of the nascent NO fragments produced in the 355 nm laser photolysis of the two alkyl nitrite species showed an almost identical rotational temperature and vibrational distributions of ...

Planar array infrared emission spectroscopy.

Planar array infrared spectroscopy (PA-IR) is shown to be a powerful new approach to infrared emission spectroscopy (IRES). A proof-of-concept study of selected polymers indicates that PA-IRES allows acquisition of emission spectra with a high signal-to-noise ratio at temperatures as low as 80 degrees C. It is shown that a time resolution below 20 ms is readily achievable for time-resolved char...
